A fun night out with a mixed of guys & girls. Following the margaritas & dinner we all hit the dancefloor for some Latin American moves with the encouragement of professional salsa dancers and a sensational Brazilian band.

The evening began with Sugar Lounge’s famous Mojitos smashed to perfection & Share Plate Entrées from the menu. Next up was a mouth-watering main course finishing off with the Chef’s Tasting Plate. Top food & great company!

Following dinner we headed to a nearby bar with live music where the movers and shakers hit the dancefloor!  A fantastic night had by all!

It was sensational show to kick-off our events for 2012! We were all amazed, amused, appalled, aroused, shocked, stirred & shaken, as we entered the sexy, funny and dangerous world of LA SOIRÉE!

It was an ever-changing collective of the world’s greatest exponents of cabaret, new burlesque, circus sideshow and contemporary vaudeville, LA SOIRÉE truly created a parallel universe of pure entertainment where undeniable skill meets unstoppable laughter!

We discovered the passion, heart, unforgettable style and good old-fashioned showmanship. (They brought the house down everywhere from New York to Edinburgh and Stockholm to Paris & London!)

The Studio at Sydney Opera House was transformed into a stunning salon to showcase extraordinary extroverts as they display their peculiar talents in the round, up-close and intimate.

It was no surprise that everyone had a top night out!

Members descended the granite staircase & entered through a hidden sandstone tunnel which led to a space that was reminiscent of an old Parisian club.

Evoking classic vintage glamour in the style of 1920s Paris, the Crystal Boudoir Show was like performance art, with a lot of stilettos! We were all entertained (and stunned!) by a contortionist in a Crystal black cat suit & incredible dancers that ruled the stage. Between acts members mingled & got to know each other, while a saxophonist played seductive tunes…

 Saturday 10 December was a celebration of Christmas & what’s to come in 2012.  It was held in the marquee of the Manly 16 Ft Skiff Club’s overwater deck. The theme was ‘Vegas’, and the cocktail party ‘oozed’ modern glamour – the decor included a ceiling dripping with disco balls & mistletoe, coupes brimming with bubbly, and the marquee was adorned with hearts & spades.

Guests enjoyed a festive afternoon of free-flowing canapes and beverages & were entertained by a magician & a surprise visit from a Las Vegas Showgirl dressed in a two piece red feather costume!

Many guests stayed on and the party continued well into the evening!  

It was the perfect balmy night for a fun evening out in Darling Harbour! We had a great group of guys & girls come out to play a fun game of  ten-pin bowling followed by a Malay banquet at Chinta Ria, affectionately known as the ’Temple of Love’.

Congratuations to Ben, Julie and John who scored the highest in their Teams!

The theme was ‘Hot Hawaiian’. The mood was sultry with a touch of electric guitar. The comedians were smoking hot!

It truly was a night of laughs with standout performers from The Sydney Fringe Festival and other talented comedians!

The Headline Acts included Michael Workman who was described by Will Anderson as “Equal parts brilliant and bizarre; Michael is one of the most original voices on the scene in years. If Nick Cave did stand-up it would look like this.”

Luke Escombe kept us entertained with his quirky humour. It’s no wonder why Sun Herald commented that he is “On the fast track to musical comedy’s big league” 

The other hot comics who took centre stage were Marty Bright, Amanda Gray, Peter Meisel, Cyrus Bezyan (NSW RAW COMEDY FINALIST), and Shane Matheson.
